REIA NYC General Meeting - Property Management and Landlording – What You Should Know

Our Monthly Meeting Structure

 »

REIA Intro: Very focused education.

 »

Structured Networking Session: Come early and network with other real estate investors from all over the New York City Metro. Many of our Business Associates will be hosting tables making it convenient to talk with them about specific questions you may have. This is an excellent time to build your team of advisors and providers.

 »

Property Presentations: As part of our Structured Networking Session, members present property they have available for sale or exchange. You may find that property you've been looking for during this part of the meeting.

 »

Guest Speaker: A local or national speaker delivers an educational, entertaining and informative presentation on an area of interest to the real estate investor.

Property Management and Landlording – What You Should Know

So you negotiated a deal and made it through closing. Now, fear sets in. Can I rent this place? Will I find a good tenant? How much should I ask? You should know most of the answers already, it’s just that anxiety often makes us irrational.

Contrary to what most people think, property management is not hard if you set the rules ahead of time and follow them.

This is an interactive meeting for beginner & seasoned investors to discuss these important topics amongst ourselves:

-Advertising/Marketing

-Special Needs Housing

-Making Appointments

-Showing the Property

-Evaluating Tenants

-Signing the Lease

-Rental Incentives

-Security Deposit

-Eviction

Who should attend?

  • New Investors
  • Seasoned Investors
  • Real Estate Attorneys
  • Realtors
  • Property Managers
  • Business Owners & Entrepreneurs
  • Anyone that wants to increase their financial portfolio in 2010

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
